Ms. Tasleema Alam
Tasleema Alam is a teaching artist and designer. Her works can be found in prestigious private collections and her designs are now produced by 5 star hotel chains, (Marriott and Radisson blu) in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. An alumna of the Princes Foundation School of Traditional Arts, and a freelance consultant to the Princes Charities, she is passionate about teaching the ethos and philosophy of Islamic Art. Tasleema is a keen advocate of holistic wellbeing, particularly for women and children.
She cultivates strong links through her travels, as an educator, and through her venture of Traditional Ateliers has built a discreet network of artisans and clients. With over 20 years experience in the corporate and banking world, art is relatively her new career. Tasleema has previously worked for Acid Survivors Trust International and served as Trustee for NextGen UK, to work with Rana Paza survivors. For more information please visit www.tasleema.com
