A Ramadan of Shared Compassion: Reaching More Than 8,000 People Across Bangladesh

Throughout this Ramadan, our month-long Iftar Distribution Campaign became a powerful reflection of compassion, solidarity, and collective care. With the support of our partners, donors, and well-wishers, we were able to reach more than 8,000 people across Bangladesh, sharing not only meals, but also dignity, warmth, and a sense of community during the holy month.

This year’s campaign touched lives in many different settings and communities. We served Iftar to 3,600 orphaned children across 18 orphanages, ensuring that children in care were able to break their fast with joy and comfort. We also reached 1,600 students in 8 schools, creating moments of togetherness and support for young learners during Ramadan.

Beyond schools and orphanages, the campaign extended to places of worship and vulnerable communities. We distributed Iftar among 1,500 worshippers in 5 mosques, 1,000 people living in community and slum areas, and 500 workers and day laborers across multiple locations. Each distribution represented more than food on a plate, it represented empathy, respect, and the belief that no one should be left behind during a month centered on generosity and reflection.

What made this initiative truly special was the many different ways people came forward to contribute. Some offered financial support, some provided meals directly, some spent time sharing Iftar with children, and others arranged Qurbani so that nutritious meals could be served during Iftar. Every contribution, no matter the form, became part of something deeply meaningful. Together, these acts of kindness created a campaign rooted in humanity and shared responsibility.

We are deeply grateful to FEED ME, Green Delta Insurance PLC, SNAD Foundation Bangladesh, and all the donors and individuals who stood beside us throughout this journey. Their generosity made it possible for us to reach thousands of people during Ramadan and bring moments of relief and joy to communities across the country.

As we reflect on this campaign, we are reminded that meaningful change is always made possible when people come together with compassion. With your continued support, we look forward to reaching even more lives in the coming Ramadans and carrying this spirit of giving forward.
