Celebrating 16 Years of Uplifting Communities: The Journey of It’s Humanity Foundation

Sixteen years ago, It’s Humanity Foundation (IHF) began with a strong vision and a heartfelt dream: to stand beside underserved communities and create opportunities for children and families to live with dignity, hope, and possibility.

In 2010, what started as a small initiative driven by compassion soon became a growing movement of humanity. The dream was simple yet powerful..to ensure that a child’s future would not be defined by poverty, that young people would have opportunities to grow and lead, and that vulnerable communities would receive the support they deserve.

Today, as we celebrate the 16th Anniversary of It’s Humanity Foundation, we look back with gratitude at a journey shaped by courage, commitment, and collective action.

Over the years, IHF has expanded its work across education, youth development, livelihood support, emergency response, climate resilience, and healthcare. From classrooms where children discover their dreams, to communities rebuilding after hardship, to women gaining skills and confidence, every step of this journey has reflected the belief on which IHF was founded: meaningful change begins when humanity comes together.

But this journey has never belonged to IHF alone.

Every child supported in education, every family reached in times of need, every young person empowered, and every community initiative made possible has been built on the trust, generosity, and dedication of countless people.

While we are proud of the journey so far, we recognise that much remains to be done.
