Inspiring Young Minds: Children’s Rights Session at AusIS

On 4 September 2025, our Founder & Executive Director, Md. Adnan Hossain, was invited to the Australian International School, Dhaka (AusIS) to conduct an engaging session with the Year 2 students on Children’s Rights.

The session provided a meaningful space for young learners to explore one of the most important topics of our time — the rights of every child to education, safety, health, and a dignified life. Adnan highlighted the real-world challenges faced by underprivileged children, including barriers to education and opportunities, and emphasized why ensuring equal rights for all is crucial to building an inclusive society.

What made the session special was the focus on children as changemakers. Through simple examples and thought-provoking questions, students were encouraged to reflect on how they, too, can play an active role in making a difference — whether by showing kindness to peers, standing up against unfairness, or sharing what they learn with others.

The Year 2 students responded with curiosity and enthusiasm, asking thoughtful questions and sharing their own perspectives. It was evident that they were not only learning about rights but also beginning to understand the responsibilities that come with them.

We are grateful to AusIS for hosting this session and creating a platform where young minds are empowered to think critically, act compassionately, and grow into responsible global citizens. By sparking such conversations early, we plant the seeds of empathy and justice that will help shape a brighter, more inclusive future.
