Roots For Change: Tree Plantation Campaign with ISMAILI CIVIC

On Campaign Day 2, we continued our journey in Chouddagram, Cumilla, where local volunteers, youth, and community members came together in an inspiring act of unity to plant trees in spaces that have long needed attention. These trees will grow to provide shade, reduce carbon footprint, and bring much-needed greenery to areas often overlooked.

The day’s activities were made possible through a meaningful collaboration with ISMAILI CIVIC Bangladesh, whose proactive involvement added great value to this initiative. Their dedication to civic service and sustainability aligned seamlessly with our mission—proving once again that real change happens when communities come together.

But Roots For Change goes beyond tree planting. It’s a call to action—a reminder that climate change isn’t a distant threat, but a local reality that affects our food, water, air, and way of life. By involving communities directly in the process, we’re not only addressing environmental degradation—we’re cultivating a sense of ownership and responsibility among people, especially the next generation.

Every tree planted is a living symbol of hope. A commitment to the future. A quiet but powerful act of defiance against the loss of biodiversity, rising temperatures, and increasing environmental vulnerabilities.

We are sincerely grateful to ISMAILI CIVIC Bangladesh for joining us in this chapter of impact, and to all the hands that helped make this campaign a success.

Let’s continue to grow, together.
